UPDATE: Michael and Curtis ordered up an unusual compact crankset for me and installed it right before the S1200. I didn't realize at the time how hard it was to get that crank, but they shot for the moon and got it, then worked hard to set me up in time. The crank and front derailuer worked perfectly for the entire S1200- never needed retightening, even though I heeded Michael's advice to check it often. Many thanks to you guys, couldn't have done it without you.
